LAURA TESTE
STUDIOS
Laura Testé is a contemporary figurative sculptor working in traditional cast bronze. Many of her sculptures balance a LOT of movement on the ball of a foot. Her figures physically and mentally folds into themselves- stretching hamstrings and self-awareness. Testé’s style captures weightlessness by pushing the limits of traditional lost wax bronze casting.
Based in Michigan, Testé’s sculptures range from intimate mantelpiece scale works to life-size front foyer installations. Her work is represented by multiple galleries and has been exhibited in Gerald Ford Presidential Museum and Arthur Secunda Art Museum, among other notable juried expositions.
